Manila Baywalk Dolomite Beach

Manila Baywalk Dolomite Beach is a DENR project launched in 2019 aimed to rehabilitate the Manila Bay. The beach was first opened in September 2020 but has subsequently been closed and reopened following the lockdowns in Metro Manila. In October 16, 2021, the beach is reopened to the public following IATF resolution placing Manila to Alert Level 3.

How much is the Entrance Fee to Manila Bay Dolomite Beach?

As of October 25, 2021, Manila Bay Dolomite Beach does not charge any entrance fee and is FREE for the Filipinos and Foreigners.

Are there toilets in the beach?

According to the marshals, there were portable toilet (portalet) provided but was not maintained well so currently, it is out of order. There are public toilets near Manila Ocean Park, Luneta, Malate, Robinsons Manila and fastfoods close to the area

Can you swim in the Dolomite beach?

As of October 25, 2021, Swimming is still prohibited but the DENR (Department of Natural Resources) hopes that the bay’s water quality further improves.

Manila Bay Dolomite Beach Operating Hours

The Dolomite Beach is open from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The DENR is also planning to limit the time between 10 – 15 mins per visitor to accommodate the tourists and to allow social distancing.

Is there an available Bicycle / Motorcycle Parking?

Yes, there is a bicycle and motorcycle parking in front of Manila Bay Dolomite beach near Pedro Gil pedestrian crossing. You can also park near Manila Ocean Park, Robinsons Manila and Malate Manila if the parking is full. Parking rate varies and make sure that you secure it properly before leaving.

Nearest Car Parking in Manila Baywalk

The nearest car parking in Manila Bay Dolomite Sand is on the northbound side of Roxas Boulevard across the road. There are also open parking near Luneta, UN Avenue, Manila Ocean Park, Manila Hotel, Robinsons Ermita and Malate Manila.

Are kids allowed in the Dolomite beach?

Yes, Metro Manila is under Alert Level 3 which allows kids to travel so long as they are accompanied by adults. Access to the beach may be subject change by the local and national government policies.

Tandaan na ikandado ng maayos ang bisikleta para makaiwas sa nakawan.

Pinakamalapit na Car Parking sa Dolomite Beach

Ang pinakamalapit na car parking sa Manila Bay Dolomite Sand ay nasa kabilang kalsada, northbound side ng Roxas Boulevard. May mga open parking din malapit sa Luneta, UN Avenue, Manila Ocean Park, Manila Hotel, Robinsons Ermita at Malate Manila.

Pwede na ba ang mga bata sa Dolomite beach?

Pwede na po sa Alert Level 3 pababa ang mga bata sa Dolomite Beach basta may kasamang magulang o kaya matanda. Maaaring magbago ang patakaran alinsunod sa city ordinance o kaya sa national government.

From PITX

To commute from PITX to Manila Bay Dolomite Beach, Ride the Quiapo, Lawton, or Monumento via Roxas Blvd bus. The fare for Aircon bus is ₱25 and the buses operate from 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

From Baclaran

To travel from Baclaran to Dolomite beach, you can ride the Divisoria jeepney that will pass by Mabini / Harrison and pay the fare of 13. Tell the jeepney to drop you off in Pedro Gil / Robinsons Manila. Then walk or ride the tricycle to Roxas Boulevard (fare: ₱20).

From Edsa, North Ave to Taft

Passengers coming from North Ave Station going to the Dolomite Beach may ride the MRT to EDSA Taft, then take the LRT going to United Nations (Luneta) or Pedro Gil Station (UP PGH). and then ride the tricycle to Roxas Boulevard (fare: ₱20). If you are planning to walk, it will take you around 20-30 minutes from the LRT station.

From Cubao

There are two ways to travel from Cubao to Manila Bay Dolomite Beach, 1.) Ride the LRT / FX / Bus from Cubao to Doroteo Jose (Recto Station) and then ride the jeep bound to Baclaran via Mabini / Harison. 2.) Ride the MRT or EDSA Carousel Bus to Taft Avenue, then follow the EDSA Taft instructions above.

From Quiapo / España

The best way to travel from Quiapo / España to the Dolomite beach is by riding the jeepneys heading to Intramuros or Baclaran via Mabini / Harison. Ask the driver to drop you off in Robinsons Manila. You can also ride the jeepneys going to Manila City Hall or UP PGH then take the tricycle going to the Dolomite Beach.

From Guadalupe

Commuters from Guadalupe going to the Dolomite beach may ride the jeepney going to Leon Guinto (L Guinto / Bukid) terminating in Taft Quirino Avenue. Once in taft, you can ride the tricycle to Manila Bay.

From Alabang

To commute from Alabang to Manila Bay Dolomite Beach, you can ride the Lawton Bus from Starmall Alabang and then take the Bus from Lawton to PITX passing along Roxas Boulevard or ride the PITX Bus from Starmall then ride the Lawton or Monumento Bus via Roxas Boulevard.

From Cavite

Passengers from Cavite going to the Dolomite Beach may ride the buses or UV Express van headed to Lawton (direct route) or PITX (cutting trip). From PITX, Ride the Quiapo, Lawton, or Monumento via Roxas Blvd bus.

From Laguna / Batangas

For passengers going to Manila Bay Dolomite beach coming from Calamba, take the P2P bus to Lawton then ride the PITX bus via Roxas Boulevard or Baclaran Jeepney via Mabini / Harison. Passengers from Sta Rosa Laguna or Lipa / Batangas City may ride the Bus to PITX and then ride the bus to Quiapo, Lawton, or Monumento via Roxas Blvd bus.

From Bulacan / Quezon Avenue / Kamuning

Passengers coming from Bulacan may take the bus to Quezon Avenue / GMA Kamuning then transfer to PITX bus via Taft. Once in Manila City Hall, transfer to a jeepney heading to Baclaran via Mabini / Harison

Kung pupunta ka sa Dolomite beach mula Baclaran sumakay ka ng jeep na pa Divisoria na dadaan sa Mabini / Harison at sabihin sa driver na ibaba ka sa Robinsons Ermita Manila. Ang pamasahe ay 13. Pwede mo na lakarin or sumakay ka ng tricycle papuntang Roxas Boulevard (fare: ₱20).

May dalawang paraan para mag commute mula Cubao papuntang Manila Bay Dolomite Beach, 1.) Sumakay ka ng LRT / FX / Bus mula Cubao papuntang Doroteo Jose (Recto Station) tapos sumakay ka ng jeep na pa Baclaran na dadaan ng Mabini / Harison. 2.) Ang pinakamadaling paraan para pumunta sa Dolomite Beach galing Quiapo / España ay sa pagsakay ng jeep na papuntang Intramuros o kaya Baclaran na dadaan ng Mabini / Harison. Sabihin sa driver na ibaba ka sa Robinsons Manila kung ang sinakyan mo ay pa Baclaran. Pwede ka din sumakay ng jeep na dadaan sa Manila City Hall o kaya UP PGH tapos sumakay ka ng tricycle papuntang Manila Bay.

Galing Guadalupe

Pag Galing ka sa Guadalupe at gusto mo pumunta sa Dolomite Beach, sumakay ka ng jeep na Pa Leon Guinto (L Guinto) sa may Guadalupe Mall. Titigil ang jeep sa may Taft / Quirino Avenue tapos sumakay ka na ng tricycle papuntang Manila Bay.

Galing Cavite

Kung ikaw ay taga Cavite at nais mong pumunta sa Dolomite Beach, pwede kang mag bus o kaya UV Express van na pa-Lawton (isang sakay) o kaya PITX (cutting trip). Mula sa PITX, Pwede ka na sumakay ng bus pa Quiapo, Lawton, o kaya Monumento na dadaan sa Roxas Blvd.

Galing Alabang

Kung ikaw ay babyahe mula Alabang papuntang Manila Bay Dolomite Beach maaari kang sumakay ng bus na pa Lawton Bus galing sa Starmall Alabang at pagdating mo sa Lawton, pwede ka na mag bus pa PITX na dadaan sa Roxas Boulevard. Pwede ka din suumakay ng bus galing Alabang na pa PITX galing sa Starmall tapos sumakay ka ng Lawton or Monumento Bus via Roxas Boulevard pag dating sa PITX.

Galing Laguna / Batangas

Kung nais mong pumunta sa Manila Bay Dolomite beach galing sa Calamba, sumakay ka ng P2P bus na pa-Lawton tapos sumakay ka ng pa PITX na bus na dadaan sa Roxas Boulevard o kaya jeep na pa-Baclaran na dadaan sa Mabini / Harison.
