Simbang gabi starts every December 16 or 15th for the anticipated mass and ends on the 24th. The 9 days Novena mass or Misa de Gallo (literally Mass of the Rooster), is the mass celebrated before the rooster crows (tilaok) for the farmers before going to the fields to start planting. An early church bell at 3AM will wake up the town for them to prepare for the 4am mass.

Ang Simbang gabi ay nagsisimula tuwing Disyembre 16 o 15 para sa inaasahang misa at nagtatapos sa ika-24 ng Disyembre. Ang 9 na araw na Novena mass o Misa de Gallo (literal na Misa ng Tandang), ay ang misa na ipinagdiriwang bago tumilaok ang manok (tilaok) para sa mga magsasaka bago pumunta sa bukid upang magsimulang magtanim. Isang maagang kampana ng simbahan sa 3AM ang magigising sa bayan para maghanda sila para sa 4am na misa.

The Catholic Bishop Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) has released their guidelines on Simbang Gabi that conforms with IATF protocols for mass gatherings. They have added more options including additional Mass celebration and online mass schedules. The Christmas Vigil Mass may be celebrated as early as 6pm. You can check with your Parish or Chapel for up to date schedule or you can also watch the mass online via Facebook or Youtube

The mass schedule for anticipated mass is usually celebrated from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM from December 15 to December 23, 2024 and the Simbang gabi / Misa de Gallo at 4:00 AM or 5:00 AM depending on the parish or chapel celebrating the mass.

Naghahanap ka ba ng schedule ng simbang gabi ngayong 2024?

Inilabas ng Catholic Bishop Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) ang kanilang guidelines sa Simbang Gabi na umaayon sa protocol ng IATF para sa mass gatherings. Nagdagdag sila ng higit pang mga opsyon kabilang ang karagdagang pagdiriwang ng Misa at mga iskedyul ng online na misa. Ang Christmas Vigil Mass ay maaaring ipagdiwang sa 6pm. Maaari mong suriin sa iyong Parokya o Chapel para sa napapanahon na iskedyul o maaari mo ring panoorin ang misa online sa pamamagitan ng Facebook o Youtube

Ang schedule ng misa para sa antincipated mass ay mula 6:00 PM hanggang 8:00 PM mula Disyembre 15 hanggang Disyembre 23, 2024 at ang Simbang gabi / Misa de Gallo mula 4:00 AM o 5:00 AM depende sa parokya o kapilya na nagdiriwang ng misa.
